CHANDLER, Ariz., Feb. 26, 2018 -- OnTrac, a logistics company specializing in delivery services in the Western United States, is announcing their partnership with the American Cancer Society (ACS) for the third year in a row. Since 2016, OnTrac has teamed up with ACS to host a Relay For Life event at the corporate office in Chandler, Arizona. Within the past two years, this event has raised over $10,000 in donations that help fund cancer research, education, prevention efforts as well as free information and services for cancer patients. OnTrac is excited to join ACS in their mission to “save lives, celebrate life, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.” The event is taking place on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 10am to 2pm at 2501 South Price Road, Chandler, AZ 85286 and is open to the community.

The OnTrac Relay For Life event starts at 10am with a leading lap celebration for cancer survivors and caretakers. The walking path is the exterior of the Continuum Business Park and is approximately one mile long. A picnic style lunch of hamburgers and hotdogs will be served for each participant. Expect a day filled with camaraderie along with celebrating survivors and honoring loved ones lost.
“We are so thankful for OnTrac and their corporate citizenship for joining the mission of the American Cancer Society,” says American Cancer Society Executive Director Ashley DeGooyer. “Their support and generosity goes beyond the ACS organization. It also touches those who are currently battling cancer, may face a diagnosis in the future and those who may avoid a diagnosis thanks to education, prevention, and early detection.”
As a team, OnTrac is hoping to pass the amount of miles that were walked in previous years, which were 356 miles in 2017 and 377 miles in 2016. Based on the amount of miles or laps walked, OnTrac will make a donation to the American Cancer Society. If you would like to help OnTrac surpass their goal by joining in the walk or by making a monetary donation, please email OnTrac Public Relations Manager Katrina Fox at [email protected].
