Jungkook continues to make his name shine as it was recently reported that he made another record by securing more than 327 million digital points on Gaon Music Chart. This also made him the first in the BTS boy band to achieve this record through his solo track “Euphoria.”
Euphoria’s achievements
Since Jungkook released the song in August 2018, it has been breaking records and has become one of the fans’ favorite BTS songs. Aside from the records, the song was also used as background music for the American TV series of the same title.
As Billboard reported, the song was played in the final episode of “Euphoria’s” first season that aired in August. Jungkook’s track was played during a high school dance where the two characters kissed in a romantic moment.
In any case, as per Allkpop, Jungkook’s “Euphoria” already topped the charts since it was launched. It imeediately ranked no. 5 at Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart and the amazing thing is the fact that the song ranked high even if it debuted without a music video.
As if this is not enough, most songs that top the charts enjoy the ranking for such a limited time only. But in the case of Jungkook, his song went back up to the top spot in various music charts, a year after it was released. Plus, should be noted that the 22-year-old idol singer is not even promoting the track!
Collaboration with Justin Bieber
Meanwhile, there were reports that there is possibility that Jungkook and Justin Bieber will collaborate. Many are convinced that this could happen since many artists around the world have already expressed their desire to team up with the current world’s most popular band.
The talks about the collaboration began when Bieber greeted Jungkook on his birthday in September and suggested that they are not ready yet. But it has been three months already so they could have gotten the ball rolling already.
Finally, the news of Jungkook and Bieber’s collaboration is back on the news when the latter shared a clip on social media and it shows “2020.” Fans are convinced that this upcoming album is set to feature the BTS member.
