Kalshi’s Oct. 30 year-end contracts showed contrasting price expectations for major crypto assets, with XRP and Bitcoin readings lower and Ether’s $3,500 target higher than a day earlier.
The XRP contract’s $2 year-end threshold was priced at 20.5%, versus 29% a day earlier, an 8.5-percentage-point drop. Bitcoin (BTC) had a 14% reading for its $100,000 year-end mark, five percentage points below the prior day. Ether (ETH) rose two percentage points to 11% for its $3,500 target.
XRP’s $2 reading was 44% on Sept. 1 and reached 61% on Sept. 23. An earlier EconoTimes report on the same year-end contract covered a separate snapshot. These percentages describe market pricing for a threshold by its deadline; they do not show that the target price was reached.
For October-end, XRP’s $1.60 contract stood at 5%, down from 6% the day before, while Ether’s $3,000 level was priced at 2%. Bitcoin’s $87,500 and $90,000 targets were both at 2%; the lower threshold had been at 3% a day earlier.
