U.S. midterms remain a major unknown for Bitcoin (BTC) in 2026, and CryptoQuant founder Ki Young Ju said Tuesday that the results could help short-term investors judge the asset’s direction.

Ju described the midterms as a major unresolved factor for Bitcoin in 2026. He has said near-term investors are less comfortable when the outlook is uncertain, and that results could give them a firmer basis for assessing the asset.

Ju had previously pointed to a possible link between stronger ETF flows and a revival in crypto momentum once the election overhang passes. He described Bitcoin ETF demand this year as subdued, saying net inflows were close to zero despite steady prices.

That near-zero reading applied to Bitcoin ETFs, while Ju’s comments on a possible recovery covered fund flows across the wider crypto market. He did not give a timetable for that improvement.
