GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands, Oct. 26, 2017 -- Knighthead Annuity and Life Assurance Company (“Knighthead Annuity”) is pleased to announce and welcome Brian O’Neill as Chief Actuary. As a member of Knighthead Annuity’s executive team, Mr. O’Neill will be responsible for enterprise-wide corporate oversight of the company’s actuarial practices.
Brian had over 13 years of experience in a management consulting capacity at both Deloitte and Towers Watson, as well as 5 years of experience as a Vice President in the Actuarial Group at Assured Guaranty. Brian’s primary areas of expertise and experience are in Economic Capital Modeling, Asset Liability Management, Model Validation, Life & Annuity Reinsurance and Enterprise Risk Management. He is a CFA Charterholder, a Certified Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA), a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries (FSA), and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). Brian earned a BS in Math from Georgetown University (Magna Cum Laude, Honor Program).
