Kross Limited’s September-quarter profit more than doubled and revenue rose 79.6%, while shares were up 15.62% in an intraday snapshot reported by The Economic Times.

At 1:12 a.m. ET (05:12 UTC) Monday, Oct. 19, the outlet reported the shares at ₹314.35, after they reached an intraday 52-week high of ₹326.40. The quote was a trading snapshot, not a closing price.

The company’s unaudited standalone results covered the quarter ended Sept. 30 and were approved by its board on Oct. 17. Kross posted ₹2,350.92 million in revenue from operations, against ₹1,309.20 million in the year-earlier quarter. Profit after tax came to ₹196.86 million, compared with ₹80.84 million a year before.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) reached ₹306 million, 107.4% above the year-ago ₹147.5 million. The EBITDA margin expanded to 13% from 11.3%, while the profit-after-tax margin rose to 8.4% from 6.2%, according to the company’s results release.

Kross linked higher sales to demand from medium and heavy commercial-vehicle and trailer customers, as well as recovery in tractor and agricultural markets. The company said capacity expansion, operating efficiency and backward integration supported results amid input-cost pressure.

Commercial production has started at Kross’s axle-beam extrusion plant, which was running at about 60% to 65% utilization, the company said. Trials at its seamless-tube facility were targeted for February to March 2027. Kross makes trailer axles, suspension assemblies and other components for commercial vehicles, tractors and off-highway vehicles.

For the six months ended Sept. 30, revenue increased 55.2% to ₹4,194.3 million and profit after tax rose 76.5% to ₹331.6 million. Chairman and Managing Director Sudhir Rai said expansion investments had begun to “support growth,” with utilization expected to improve in coming quarters. Kross scheduled a post-results conference call for 5:30 a.m. ET (09:30 UTC) Monday, Oct. 19.
