CINCINNATI, Dec. 09, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LSI Industries Inc. (NASDAQ:LYTS) today announced the introduction of the following products to its growing family of LED fixtures:
- Artistic Light Panels® – which are slim, lightweight, quickly installable sheets of light-emitting material with specially-etched groove surfaces.
- Aureus® LED High Bay – which offers excellent ambient light with symmetrical light distribution in a warehouse or factory environment.
- LiniArc® Series – which deliver indirect and direct lighting with style and includes a wide variety of fixture designs and distribution choices.
Dennis Wells, Chief Executive Officer and President, commented, "We are continuing to expand our offering of LED fixtures for both indoor and outdoor applications. These new products are representative of the versatile, high-quality lighting solutions that our customers are seeking."
Mr. Wells went on to state, "Recent invoiced shipments of LED fixtures exceeded 70% of total lighting results at LSI Industries. This is an important milestone. A few years ago, LED was just emerging as an alternative solution to traditional lighting fixtures. Today most new construction uses only LED fixtures and most existing buildings are at least considering a solid-state upgrade. LED lighting fixtures provide building owners with a substantial savings on their utility/electrical costs when compared to HID or even fluorescent lighting fixtures, as well as significant maintenance savings over the life of the fixture. There is a strong movement across the US to reduce energy consumption, and LSI is proud to be a leader in that movement."
