Students using McGraw Hill’s Connect will gain an AI study hub, while a separate Breakout Learning partnership will add classroom discussions and AI feedback for instructors.
McGraw Hill announced the plans Friday. Learning Studio, its AI study hub, will draw on assigned McGraw Hill course content and offer text and audio reviews, chapter guides, key-term lists and ungraded checks in select classes. Students’ notes in Connect may also shape its written summaries.
Breakout Learning’s virtual platform will let students discuss course concepts in small groups and complete oral assignments individually. Instructors will receive AI-enabled feedback on student engagement, their grasp of the material and how their skills are developing.
McGraw Hill’s AI Reader has reached more than three million students since its 2024 launch. “AI should deepen learning, not shortcut it,” said Dr. Dave Duke, McGraw Hill’s chief product officer for higher education.
