ATLANTA and PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 11, 2017 -- Epiq, a leading global provider of integrated technology and services for the legal profession, today announced the appointment of Robert A. “Bob” Hopen as president of its settlement administration business. A 25-year veteran of the legal services industry, Hopen will oversee the company’s class action, mass tort and settlement administration business units.

Hopen previously served as senior vice president and general manager, international markets for Epiq. He brings decades of experience to his role, including five years managing client relationships and operations in the Epiq electronic discovery businesses in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Prior to joining Epiq in 2012, Bob held executive roles with legal services and legal software providers. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
