NEW YORK, March 05, 2018 -- Alphaserve Technologies, a global provider of managed IT, cloud and cybersecurity services, announces legal technology industry veteran and former Blank Rome chief information officer Larry Liss has joined the company as its managing director and legal industry advisor. The hire is prompted by Alphaserve’s recent expansion of support for the legal market with its IT-as-a-Service model.
Liss has worked in technology since 1965, starting with IBM, piloting initiatives and technology implementations in the financial services, behavioral health care and legal services industries before joining the Am Law 100 law firm Blank Rome LLP in 1998. At Blank Rome, Liss led the firm through countless technology advancements over twenty years. He is regarded as an authority and thought leader in various aspects of legal technology, expertise he will share as he consults with Alphaserve clients to improve their technology strategies and operations.
“Legal technology is constantly evolving and poses endless challenges. Having worked in this arena for many decades, I appreciate Alphaserve’s approach of providing expert consultations and practical solutions that lawyers understand and that have a meaningful impact in their firm,” says Liss. “I look forward to helping more firms formulate strategies for adopting innovative solutions and advancing technology initiatives that will promote their ongoing growth and success.”
“We are thrilled that Larry Liss has agreed to join Alphaserve to consult with our expanding portfolio of law firm clients, who will benefit greatly from his knowledge and expertise,” says Alphaserve CEO Arup Das. “Having someone of his caliber recognize the value we deliver and want to be a part of our growing team only reinforces that we are on the right path in our approach.”
For more than a decade, Alphaserve has delivered smart-sourced IT services to some of the world’s most demanding market sectors, including the asset management industry, health care, media and government. While Alphaserve’s founders have worked with law firms since 1998, the company formally expanded its services targeted to the law firm market in 2017 and has found quick success. Alphaserve gains the trust and confidence of its growing list of law firm clients by providing modern, practical and tailored solutions that promote smarter resource allocation to increase firm profitability through innovation, AI and business process improvement. The company was recently named a Legal AI Leader by The National Law Journal, further validating its mission to move the industry forward with education and practical yet innovative solutions.
