Level Access said Gartner named it a Leader in the first Magic Quadrant for digital accessibility platforms, drawing attention to a market where automated scans continue to find widespread website barriers.
The company said Gartner placed it highest on the Ability to Execute axis among the 19 vendors in the report. Gartner’s public listing is dated Oct. 5, 2026. Its Magic Quadrants assess vendors on Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. Gartner describes the digital accessibility platforms market as moving toward ongoing, AI-assisted assurance. It says its reports do not endorse vendors or advise buyers to choose a provider solely because it has the highest rating.
WebAIM’s February 2026 automated scan detected failures under Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2 on 95.9% of 1 million home pages, up from 94.8% in 2025. WebAIM said the latest increase ended six years of gradual improvement. The scan covered home pages, and automated checks can miss failures. A page with no detected errors is not necessarily accessible.
Disability:IN and the American Institutes for Research estimated the U.S. disability consumer market at $675 billion in 2026. Their study focused on working-age adults with disabilities.
A separate Level Access report drew on a Sapio Research survey of 2,530 professionals conducted in June and July 2026. Among respondents who used AI, 99% said it sped up at least one software development stage, while 30% said it sped up quality assurance and testing. The survey reflects respondents’ views and does not establish that the results apply to all software teams. “AI is building the digital world faster than any team can manually audit for accessibility,” Level Access CEO Mark Zablan said.
