Lido DAO’s first-half accounts show a combined $4.45 million loss for the DAO and its foundations after a $6.06 million nonrecurring Kelp-related charge; its latest filing is marked “Partial - 7 gaps.”
The reporting period ran from Jan. 1 through June 30. The foundations recorded $14.33 million in expenses, while net revenue for the DAO came to $15.94 million. Together, those figures put the surplus before nonrecurring items at $1.61 million. The Kelp-related expense contributed to the final loss.
The issuer filed its B2 v2.2 entry on Oct. 15, and the directory labels it current. The entry includes treasury holdings and market activity, along with details on protocol governance and the original allocation and vesting of Lido DAO’s governance token (LDO). B2 is an ongoing disclosure framework for mature token projects. The status identifies seven gaps but does not say which information is missing. Neither the filing nor the H1 accounts gives a date for addressing them or describes an update plan.
People using Lido deposit Ether (ETH) and receive stETH, which represents Ether committed to staking and rewards earned on it. Holders of LDO vote through Aragon and Snapshot.
Lido’s staking TVL rose from 8.74 million ETH at the start of H1 to 9.13 million ETH by June 30. Over the same period, its share of all staked Ether fell from 23.93% to 21.18%. The figures measure different things: the amount staked through Lido grew, while its portion of the broader total shrank. The filing and accounts provide no timetable for further disclosure, leaving the next update unspecified.
