The Liquid Federation said it is enabling semi-automated swaps with participating providers, which it expects to give most users of supported providers a route from Liquid Bitcoin (L-BTC) to Bitcoin (BTC) while direct Federation peg-outs remain restricted.

Enabling that service does not reopen the Federation’s direct channel for converting L-BTC to BTC. Holders using the provider route must go through a participating provider.

The Federation said L-BTC must regain full backing at a one-to-one ratio before it allows authorized peg-outs again. It gave no date for that step or for the return of direct Federation peg-outs.
