Anadolu Agency reported that Palestine Solidarity Campaign demonstrators gathered outside Israel’s pavilion at the World Travel Market in London on Nov. 3, pressing Britain to deliver a planned ban on advertising for illegal settlements.

The PSC said the pavilion promoted tourism in occupied Palestinian territory. The group’s campaign notice had called for action over an Israeli agency’s tourism promotion in occupied East Jerusalem.

Anadolu reported that the group also challenged Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband in a post on X, asking, “Will he now stick to his word?”

Miliband told Parliament on Sept. 8 that legislation to ban advertising of illegal settlements would be in place within six to nine months. His statement gave a time window, not a specific date.

The World Travel Market is scheduled to run Nov. 3-5 at ExCeL London, according to the event organizer.
