ATCHISON, Kan., March 17, 2016 -- MGP (Nasdaq:MGPI) is celebrating the company’s 75th anniversary this year in many ways. Literally one of biggest--seven stories tall, to be exact--will occur on Tuesday, March 29, when senior executives ring the closing bell for the Nasdaq stock market on New York City’s Times Square.

Planning to attend the ceremony at Nasdaq will be Board Chair Karen Seaberg; Chairman Emeritus Cloud L. “Bud” Cray; President and Chief Executive Officer Gus Griffin; Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer Tom Pigott; and Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer Dave Rindom. In addition to ringing the bell that officially ends trading for the day, MGP’s 75th anniversary logo will be included on the Nasdaq Tower and Wall, which will be projected onto Times Square throughout the day.
