DAYTON, Ohio, Feb. 05, 2018 -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services, cybersecurity and product solutions, announced today that it was awarded a five-year, $37 million task order with the Department of Defense (DoD) Information Analysis Center’s (IAC) Defense Systems Technical Area Task (DS TAT) Multi-Award Contract to support the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) Directorate of Logistics and Engineering (CCJ4). MacB’s team will provide strategic planning and development of a logistics analysis capability assessment framework and supplementary database to support the next generation of logistics requirements within CENTCOM’s vast area of responsibility.
CCJ4 is responsible for planning, synchronizing, monitoring, and controlling efforts of the Joint Logistics Enterprise in support of USCENTCOM’s mission to promote cooperation among nations, respond to crisis as required, deter or defeat aggression, and support development and reconstruction.
MacB analysts will evaluate and assess the full range of core logistics functions across all domains (air, land, sea, space and cyber) with emphasis on an intra-theater distribution network, resiliency, sustainment, preposition war material, Anti-Access/Area-Denial (A2/AD), and a logistics interoperability initiative. The company will directly support the Commander’s priorities: ensure an effective posture; strengthen allies and partnerships; disrupt and counter violent extremist organizations and networks; and deter and counter State aggressors.
“This task order is a new requirement, and we are pleased to provide CENTCOM CCJ4 with technical experts to conduct in-depth analysis and assessments similar to MacB’s work with other Combatant Commands,” said Fred Norman, MacB’s Senior Vice President and General Manager of MSG. “These results will help drive improvements in the theater’s logistics interoperability of joint and coalition operations within the entire CENTCOM area of responsibility.”
