Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (M&M) shares fell 0.48% on Oct. 19 amid a wider retreat in Indian stocks, with the Nifty 50 losing 1.11% by the close.
The vehicle and tractor maker closed at ₹2,907 on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), down ₹13.90 from its Oct. 16 close of ₹2,920.90. Its shares traded between ₹2,885.60 and ₹2,938.60, according to NSE historical security data.
The Nifty 50 ended the session at 22,888.95, down 257.20 points, according to NSE historical index data.
M&M’s September sales releases showed different trends across its businesses. Total vehicle sales, including exports, rose 15% from a year earlier to 114,874. Domestic tractor sales fell 23% to 50,208 from 64,946 in September 2025.
The company said the tractor comparison was affected partly by the festive season shifting to October and a higher year-earlier sales base following a GST rate cut.
M&M has scheduled an analyst meeting covering its second quarter of fiscal 2027 for Nov. 5, from 5:30 to 7 a.m. ET (10:30 a.m. to noon UTC).
