Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) shares moved above a technical resistance marker during India’s Nov. 5 session, while a later delayed quote showed a 5.59% gain. The Economic Times reported the earlier crossing.

At 10:55:34 p.m. ET Nov. 4 (03:55:34 UTC Nov. 5), The Economic Times’ liveblog put M&M at ₹3,068.50 and cited ₹3,065.57 for R3, its third resistance marker. The outlet also said the stock had earlier moved above its R2, listed at ₹3,003.37.

INDmoney showed a quote delayed by 15 minutes at ₹3,127.50 at 4:59 a.m. ET Nov. 5 (09:59 UTC), 5.59% above its ₹2,961.90 previous-close reference. The provider listed the day’s range as ₹2,984.20 to ₹3,145.00.

R3 was lower on two other services: Choice showed ₹3,044.84, while ET Money’s classic pivot model showed ₹3,044.83. Both listed R2 at ₹3,003.37. Choice calculates using selected five-minute price observations; ET Money’s classic approach uses the preceding session’s trading span. The Economic Times did not disclose the method behind its ₹3,065.57 figure.

In a separate Nov. 5 release, M&M reported consolidated revenue of ₹57,553 crore and consolidated after-tax profit of ₹4,588 crore for the three months through Sept. 30, 2026. Both figures were 25% higher than a year earlier, when revenue was ₹46,106 crore and profit was ₹3,673 crore. The company also reported standalone after-tax profit of ₹5,102 crore, up 13% year over year.

Auto’s consolidated PAT advanced 55% to ₹2,388 crore, while Farm’s declined 9% to ₹1,053 crore. M&M linked the Farm decrease to a shift in festive-season timing and said strong consumer demand supported Auto performance. Group CEO and Managing Director Dr. Anish Shah said the 25% PAT gain reflected “the resilience of our group” and “disciplined execution across businesses.”
