ManpowerGroup will name president and chief strategy officer Becky Frankiewicz its CEO on Jan. 1, 2027, under a succession plan that also adds her to its board, expanding it to 12 directors.
CEO Jonas Prising will leave the position and become Executive Chair on the same date. The board approved the change Oct. 13. ManpowerGroup said Frankiewicz will be its fifth CEO in nearly 80 years. Prising has led the company since 2014. His agreement runs through Dec. 31, 2027, after which he is due to leave the chairmanship and board.
Under his Executive Chair agreement, Prising will receive a $1 million annual base salary. The filing lists his 2027 target bonus at 140% of base pay and a $5.2 million target long-term incentive opportunity; the compensation committee will set goals for his bonus. Frankiewicz’s terms set an annual base salary of $1.15 million and a target cash incentive equal to 150% of base salary. Her target long-term incentive opportunity for 2027 is $7.5 million.
Frankiewicz took her current roles in June 2025 after serving as ManpowerGroup’s North America regional president and chief commercial officer. She joined ManpowerGroup in July 2017 as North America president and previously led Quaker Foods North America at PepsiCo.
ManpowerGroup framed the succession as part of its long-term planning and cited Frankiewicz’s work on commercial strategy and AI integration. Lead Director Julie Howard said the board was pleased to endorse her.
The transition announcement came the same day as the company’s third-quarter results. For the three months ended Sept. 30, 2026, services revenue was $4,840.0 million, up 4.4% from $4,634.4 million a year earlier. Net earnings were $34.1 million, compared with $18.0 million in the same 2025 period.
Frankiewicz is expected to stand for election at ManpowerGroup’s 2027 annual shareholder meeting.
