SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 17, 2016 -- Matrix Medical Network® (Matrix), the leading provider of in-home assessments and care management, has announced that Mr. Mark Schonau will be joining the company as chief financial officer.
Mr. Schonau comes to Matrix as a highly accomplished financial executive with more than 25 years of progressive experience providing financial and operational leadership to a number of successful public and private companies in the technology sector. Most recently, Mark served as CFO at AFS Technologies Inc., a global provider of business automation solutions for consumer goods companies.
“I am delighted to have Mark join our team,” said Mr. Walt Cooper, Matrix chief executive officer. “His broad finance expertise will be especially valuable as Matrix continues to expand our service offerings.”
Previous to AFS Technologies, Mr. Schonau held the position of CFO at several organizations, including three publicly traded companies recognized as leaders within their industries. He also served as the point financial executive in approximately 15 transactions ($1 billion) including M&A, public offerings, private equity and public debt.

Mr. Schonau is a licensed CPA in Arizona and has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arizona State University. He also holds a Certificate in Global Leadership from the Thunderbird School of International Management.
