Marsh management raised the Thrive program’s savings target to $600 million on an Oct. 15 earnings call, outlining a multiyear effort intended to support margin growth and investment.

The new target replaces a previous $400 million savings goal. Management said the savings are expected to accrue across the program’s three years, while most actions are expected to be completed by the end of 2028. The deadline refers to implementation actions; the company described the savings as a three-year outcome.

Marsh’s first-quarter investor presentation identified Business and Client Services, automation and workforce actions as levers for the program. It said some savings would be reinvested to support growth and that the program was expected to contribute to further margin expansion. On the earnings call, management said the savings would give the company room to invest in sales, technology and growth.

Management also kept Marsh’s 2026 outlook for underlying revenue growth unchanged. The company reported third-quarter revenue of $6.863 billion for the quarter ended Sept. 30, an 8% increase from the third quarter of 2025. Underlying revenue growth was 5%, according to Marsh’s Oct. 15 results release.

Marsh’s results also listed $79 million in restructuring charges, primarily related to Thrive. The charge is a reported cost associated mainly with the program, alongside its longer-term savings target.
