Metaplanet Inc. said in a Nov. 2 disclosure it raised its planned Bitcoin (BTC) purchase allocation to ¥33.422 billion after repaying ¥8 billion in bond principal early with cash.

Metaplanet paid EVO FUND the ¥8 billion principal owed under its 20th Series of Ordinary Bonds before their April 23, 2027, maturity. The company said the bonds carried no interest.

An earlier plan had reserved ¥8 billion expected from exercising the 27th Series of Stock Acquisition Rights for bond repayment. The revised allocation raises the budget for Bitcoin purchases from ¥25.422 billion to ¥33.422 billion.

The plan retains ¥3.714 billion for “Bitcoin Income Generation.” Metaplanet scheduled spending for both uses from April 2026 through April 2028.

Metaplanet expects the early settlement to have only a minor effect on its 2026 consolidated results. It said reallocating the proceeds would not change its financial results.
