Fremont, Calif., Jan. 18, 2017 -- MivaTek, a next-gen PaaS/SaaS provider that offers a Unified-IoT™ network for a variety of commercial and residential applications, announces the addition of Jean-Claude Zhang, Jorge Perdomo, and Tim Redjaian to the company’s management team.
Zhang joins MivaTek as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer and President of the business in China PRC. Before joining MivaTek, Zhang was the founder and CEO of Karnet Ltd., a start-up providing enterprise carpool management services in China. From July 2006 to September 2014, he was the Chief Financial Officer of BCD Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd. (NASDAQ: BCDS). From September 1997 to June 2006, Zhang held various management positions within the Group Alcatel.
Perdomo joins Mivatek as the new Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Development. Before joining MivaTek, he was the Lead Business & Market Development Digital Life International at AT&T. Prior to that he was Senior Strategic Product Marketing Manager for Worldwide Peripheral Products at ADT Security Services, Division of Tyco International. He was also Vice President of Business Development for Generation One, Inc.
The new Vice President of Engineering & Tech Marketing, Redjaian comes to MivaTek from InterModal Data/Coraid, where he served as Senior Director of Engineering. Prior to that, he was Senior Director of Engineering - IoT at NETGEAR, a global networking company that delivers innovative products to consumers, businesses and service providers. He was also a Consultant for Home Security and Automation at iControl, a major player in the connected-home market.
