Fans will know that the relationship between brothers Mob and Ritsu in “Mob Psycho 100” is quite close. In the new key visual for “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2, a depiction of the two in a peaceful moment seems to promise respite. However, it’s worth noting that just as in the first season, “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 is going to feature chaos and unstable psychic powers fueled by emotion.
Viewers seem to forget this fact easily, but Shigeo Kageyama or Mob, as he is called, is actually extremely dangerous. He keeps his powers in check by not giving in to his emotions, which he loses control over if he becomes too angry. In “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2, he will likely be directing this anger at his enemies, which makes the new visual shared on Twitter more meaningful.

The image that came with the tweet depicts the two brothers Mob and Ritsu eating mochi under a moonlit night, surrounded by rabbits. It’s an undeniably cute moment that almost makes people forget who is in the picture. With Studio Bones working on “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2, it’s worth expecting that this is going to be another action-packed adventure. Naturally, Mob will mop the floor with all of his enemies.
As Comicbook.com notes, the new visual offers a more serene scene that is in stark contrast to the vibe that “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 gives off. Whether it comes from Mob himself or his enemies, there’s an unmistakable feeling of danger emanating from these characters.
“Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 does not have an official release date just yet. However, speculations place the premiere for the second season to be around late 2019. Until this is confirmed, fans will simply have to hope that they will not be waiting that long.
