NDTV Profit reported that National Aluminium Company Limited’s (NALCO) September-quarter profit fell from the preceding quarter even as revenue increased, and also reported an interim dividend.
NALCO’s Oct. 22 notice for a Nov. 2 board meeting listed unaudited standalone and consolidated results for the quarter and half-year ended Sept. 30, 2026, as well as an FY27 interim dividend, among items for directors to consider. The September-quarter figures and dividend terms are reported by NDTV Profit.
NDTV Profit reported that NALCO’s EBITDA margin narrowed to 44.5% from 51.1% in Q1, a decline of about 660 basis points. The outlet put EBITDA at ₹2,411 crore, 11% below the prior quarter, and revenue from operations at ₹5,419 crore, up 2.2%. It reported consolidated net profit of ₹1,835 crore, down 8.4% sequentially.
NALCO’s Q1 revenue from operations was ₹5,302.38 crore; NDTV Profit used about ₹2,003 crore in Q1 consolidated profit for its sequential comparison.
NDTV Profit also said the board approved an interim dividend of ₹4.50 per share, equal to 90% of the ₹5 face value. It listed Nov. 6 as the record date and said payment was due by Dec. 1. For the six months ended Sept. 30, the outlet reported revenue of ₹10,721.82 crore, against ₹8,099.28 crore a year earlier, and net profit of ₹3,837.47 crore, versus ₹2,497.03 crore.
NALCO is a Government of India enterprise and a producer and exporter of alumina and aluminum, according to its Q1 release. The company’s conference-call notice schedules its next earnings call for midnight ET (05:00 UTC) Tuesday, Nov. 3, equivalent to 10:30 a.m. India Standard Time.
