Binance's spot pair of NEAR and Tether (USDT) was quoted at $4.85 at 6:05 p.m. ET (22:05 UTC) on Oct. 18. The pair stood at $4.68 an hour earlier, and NEAR's 24-hour reading showed a 0.04% gain.
The $0.17 increase compares the 6:05 p.m. quote with the price an hour earlier; the 0.04% figure covers the full 24-hour window. The two figures therefore describe different spans of trading.
The Sunday quote was $0.01 above the $4.84 recorded at 5:35 p.m. ET Saturday. Saturday's NEAR update showed a 3.37% decline in the 24-hour measure at that time.
