Disney and VeVe signed a deal to release digital collectibles featuring Star Wars, Pixar, Marvel, and Disney NFTs. The collaboration is part of the digital collectible app-based marketplace’s celebration of Disney+ Day.
To commemorate the special day, Disney and VeVe will be launching a series of NFTs related to iconic characters. The digital collectible will surely be hard to resist since it will include items featuring some of the most popular characters in famous stories, as per Markets Insider.
VeVe announced its partnership with Disney this week, and this will also mark the Walt Disney Company’s entrance into the world of blockchain and non-fungible tokens. Collectors will have a lot of items to buy since the NFTs will not just focus on one of its movie franchises.
Disney and VeVe will unveil the “Golden Moments” NFT collection, and fans can also expect rare items. It was shared that the companies will also be offering an ultra-rare digital collectible on Disney+ Day, which is on Nov. 12.
“We are truly proud to celebrate Disney+ Day with a series of ‘Golden Moments’ digital collectibles on VeVe and this will give fans and collectors the opportunity to purchase and interact with digital golden statues inspired by beloved stories and moments from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and more,” Veve stated in a blog post. “Collectors can expect the “Golden Moments” NFT Collection to hit the platform in the lead up to Disney+ Day, culminating on Nov. 12, with a special Ultra Rare digital collectible.”
It was added that buyers who will purchase any NFT item from the Disney collection would also get a 3-month of Disney+ free subscription from VeVe. For people who will buy the ultra-rare NFT on Disney+ Day, they will get a 12-month free subscription for Disney+.
Then again, it should be noted that the subscription offers are for new and returning Disney+ subscribers only. The free subscription is also not transferable, cannot be shared with another person, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Lastly, the offer is available in these countries only: the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Mexico, and Singapore. Disney and VeVe will release more details regarding the exact drop dates of the NFT items.
