The New York Stock Exchange’s planned digital-securities platform remains in development, with trading at its associated venue dependent on regulatory approval before any operations can begin.

Securitize and tZERO are among the transfer-agent participants linked to the initiative.

The exchange announced the platform plan in January. Its design would keep securities trading available around the clock, allow transactions to settle immediately and accept stablecoins as funding. The platform has yet to launch.

Earlier elements of the project involved Securitize’s transfer-agent infrastructure and Broadridge’s work on voting and issuer services. Regulatory approval is a prerequisite for trading at the associated venues.
