Micron Technology, Inc., Sandisk Corporation and Intel Corporation fell before Tuesday’s U.S. open, while the Nasdaq Composite and Philadelphia Semiconductor Index were higher by midday after Monday’s chip-share rebound.

At 5:20 a.m. ET (09:20 UTC), Nasdaq-100 E-mini futures were down 147.75 points, or 0.5%, Reuters reported.

In separate premarket reports, TipRanks put Micron and Sandisk shares down more than 2% each. NDTV Profit reported that Intel was down more than 1%. The reports did not give a common time for those stock readings.

At 12:06 p.m. ET (16:06 UTC), the Nasdaq Composite stood at 26,489.60, up 58.72 points, or 0.22%, Reuters reported. Reuters also put the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index up 0.7% in midday trading. Those readings describe the indexes, rather than the later prices of the three companies’ shares.

The chip-share rebound on Monday helped lift the Nasdaq Composite 1.11%. It also ended eight consecutive losses for the semiconductor index. Reuters put that decline at about 15.7% and said no losing run had lasted as long since October 2008.

Questions about how AI infrastructure is financed weighed on technology shares the previous week, Reuters reported, with CoreWeave’s debt among the concerns it cited. ActivTrades analyst Ion Jauregui told Reuters, “Investors are pickier about AI stories than they were a year ago.”

Micron reported $54.23 billion in revenue for its fiscal fourth quarter of 2026, which ended Sept. 3, 2026. Sandisk reported $2.98 billion in datacenter revenue for its fiscal fourth quarter of 2026, which ended July 3, 2026, up 103% from the preceding quarter.

Micron has scheduled a technology webinar for Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. ET (14:00 UTC). Sandisk has scheduled its fiscal first-quarter 2027 earnings call for Oct. 29 at 4:30 p.m. ET (20:30 UTC).
