Oil's pullback supported the wider U.S. market Tuesday, but volatile technology trading left the Nasdaq Composite nearly flat as the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced, the Associated Press reported.

Nasdaq's index-history page lists the Composite's closing level at 26,424.82. The AP said it finished down less than 0.1%, while the S&P 500 rose 0.3% to 7,712.57 and the Dow gained 1% to 52,495.88.

Brent crude traded below $109 a barrel later Tuesday after coming close to $112 earlier, AP reported. The agency said the decline helped the broader market recover earlier losses. Airline shares also rose as oil eased: American Airlines gained 3.7% and United Airlines advanced 2.3%, AP reported.

In a report published at 10:57 a.m. EDT, NDTV Profit listed intraday prices for four AI-linked stocks. Micron Technology was up 1.17% at $915.50, Intel gained 0.44% to $92.40, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) rose 1.36% to $545.16 and CoreWeave increased 3.68% to $63.48. The figures were intraday readings, not closing prices.

CoreWeave fell more than 6% early in trading, climbed to a 5% gain, then saw its advance narrow to about 1.7%, AP reported. The AP also pointed to weaker shares of Apple and Meta Platforms as a reason the Nasdaq lagged.

The session followed Monday's 1.1% Nasdaq gain alongside a recovery in chip shares, which EconoTimes covered in its report on the chip-share rebound. The previous week had been the Nasdaq's worst since June, according to AP, amid investor doubts about whether AI companies could keep borrowing for heavy spending as bond yields rose.

CoreWeave's Form 10-Q reported $35.6 billion in total indebtedness and $10 billion of undrawn availability under four credit facilities as of June 30, 2026. The filing also described substantial and growing capital expenditure requirements.
