On Monday, Nov. 2, Neros Technologies said a conditional $450 million U.S. loan commitment and its planned $165 million equity contribution would support a $615 million expansion of drone and component production.
The company expects to move production of several drone designs and their components into its own manufacturing operation. Neros set a target of producing one million drones annually by 2028.
The company did not provide the loan’s interest rate, maturity, drawdown requirements, disbursement schedule or expected closing date. It also did not say whether the equity had already been raised or invested.
The Office of Strategic Capital (OSC) says it aims to increase private funding for technologies important to national-security supply chains. Its website lists direct loans of up to $150 million for U.S. manufacturing projects, without explaining how that published limit relates to the $450 million commitment Neros described.
Neros announced a $250 million Series C at a $2.5 billion post-money valuation in August 2026. In September, it said it received an order through the Drone Dominance Program’s Gauntlet II for 14,000 drones and explosive payloads valued at more than $100 million.
