The Dutch government has announced a €1.2 billion ($1.3 billion) nonmilitary package for Ukraine spanning 2027-29, aimed at reconstruction and urgent needs in energy and industry.

The plan allocates €380 million for 2027 and about €410 million for each of the next two years. Some money is intended for funds supporting Dutch companies willing to invest in Ukraine’s rebuilding. Other measures will fund urgent work on Ukraine’s energy network, alongside the supply of machines to Ukrainian industry.

Jetten’s office said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy was due in The Hague on Wednesday for talks with Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten and Cabinet members, then a meeting with King Willem-Alexander.
