FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 04, 2018 -- Netsurion, a leading provider of managed network connectivity, security, and compliance solutions, today announced that it will host a live-video webcast, co-hosted by Netsurion’s CEO Kevin Watson and CIO Mark Cornwell, April 11th at 2:00 PM ET. The presentation aims to give insight to users in selecting the best software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) for your business requirements.
SD-WAN is used by businesses to connect enterprise networks that span large geographical distances and seeks to move more of the network control to the cloud using a software approach. The software-defined solution is particularly useful to branch offices and retail outlets with complex data centers due to multiple locations. Despite the advantages of SD-WAN, not all solutions are equal.
SD-WAN solutions are typically tailored to large scale businesses that are centrally focused on MPLS replacement or VOIP quality and are therefore often times not a good solution to fit the needs of small to medium businesses or enterprises comprised of many distributed smaller branch locations. These businesses who support many branch locations suffer from expensive bandwidth, complex and expensive hardware infrastructure, as well as cumbersome deployments and upgrades. In cases such as this, a vastly different SD-WAN solution is required.
This session is aimed to help determine the SD-WAN requirements that best perform for your business size and needs. SD-WAN is a smart solution for enhanced network connectivity, resilience and security, however, choosing the appropriate solution is critical.
During this webcast, participants will learn:
- Key differences between the many SD-WAN solutions available
- Trends happening in the SD-WAN market
- The technical challenges customers should be aware of in relation to this technology
