NextEra Energy declared a fourth-quarter common dividend of $0.6232 per share, preserving the same payment level across all four quarters of 2026 for its common shareholders.

The company announced the declaration Oct. 22. Shareholders of record Nov. 27 are due the payment Dec. 15. NextEra’s dividend-history table lists $0.6232 per share for each of the first three quarterly payments this year, making the latest declaration the fourth at that rate.

The current rate is about 10% above the $0.5665 dividend recorded for Oct. 23, 2025. In February, when declaring its first quarterly dividend of 2026, NextEra said the $0.6232 rate was 10% above the comparable year-earlier payment and consistent with its longer-term dividend-growth plan.

That plan called for annual increases in per-share dividends of about 10% through 2026, measured from 2024, followed by a 6% annual pace from year-end 2026 through 2028, according to the February release. The October declaration sets the fourth-quarter payment; it does not specify the amount of any future dividend.

NextEra said its board retains authority over dividend policy, including the timing and amount of future payments. The company cautioned in February that later dividends could be lower than shareholders expect, and the October announcement did not give a date for the board’s next dividend decision. The scheduled payment date is Dec. 15.
