NextTrip, Inc. said its revenue for the first six months of fiscal 2027 more than doubled from a year earlier, while its latest quarter declined as it directed resources to travel-adviser and media products.

The company reported preliminary revenue of $546,687 for the three months ended Aug. 31, compared with $757,648 a year earlier. That is a calculated decline of 27.8%; NextTrip described the drop as approximately 28%. Revenue for the six-month period was $1,998,422, up from $896,475. Those totals imply a 122.9% increase, which the company described as approximately 122%.

NextTrip attributed part of the quarterly decrease to resources going toward improvements to NextTrip Pro and the integration of JOURNY TV with GoUSA TV. The company said the integration work was substantially complete after the quarter ended.

Deferred revenue stood at about $1.2 million on Aug. 31, with cruise bookings contributing to part of the balance, NextTrip said. NextTrip said the balance depends on when customers complete the related travel or service and should not be treated as a forecast for a specific period.

NextTrip expects to begin an initial commercial rollout of NextTrip Pro and advisor onboarding during fiscal third quarter. Broader JOURNYGO deployment is also among its priorities for the second half of fiscal 2027.
