Nikkei closes ahead of 19k, weak correlation of USD/JPY

Unlike yesterday, the Nikkei-USD/JPY correlation weaker today.
Nikkei supports but rise only made up for the fall in US yields.
Nikkei closes day at 18,991.11, up 267.59 pts or 1.43% on day.
High of 19,008.13 recorded during course of TSE day, fresh trend high.
USD/JPY-Nikkei correlation more on than off recently.
