The laser-based directed energy Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM) Guardian Laser Transmitter Assembly (GLTA) and the Advanced Threat Warner (ATW) have the ability to not only track missiles but also detect laser threats and hostile fire, such as rocket-propelled grenades or small arms fire.

The Multi-Band Laser Spot Tracker (MBLST), Slayer handheld precision targeting device and Venom vehicle-mounted targeting pod laser systems are tailored to provide mission overmatch and rapid precision engagement in all battlefield conditions. Biosled, a component of Northrop Grumman's Biometric Ecosystem, is a single form factor device that serves as a lightweight, low-cost biometric sled. Biosled is designed to meet strict Department of Defense requirements for use in tactical environments. The customized form factor builds a semi-rugged case around the host Android smartphone. Biosled packs extended battery power and utilizes Northrop Grumman's high-performance biometric mobility software to achieve standards-based data capture.

The APG-83 Scalable Agile Beam Radar (SABR) is a full-performance, multi-function, active electronically scanned array (AESA) fire control radar in production and available now for the F-16. SABR was developed as an affordable, low-risk AESA radar and utilizes technology common with the radars on the F-35 and F-22 to extend the life and survivability of the F-16, keeping the platform relevant in the battlespace of the future.
