Nvidia Corp is expanding its presence in Europe's artificial intelligence market through agreements to acquire minority stakes in four French technology companies, according to a report published Tuesday by French newspaper Les Echos.

The U.S. semiconductor giant plans to invest in Doctolib, Genesis AI, Pigment, and Entalpic, strengthening its involvement in industries ranging from healthcare and robotics to financial technology and chemistry.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced the investments during a reception at Place Vendôme in Paris. The event brought together French technology executives and Economy Minister Roland Lescure, highlighting growing cooperation between Nvidia and France's technology sector.

The four companies operate in different industries, demonstrating Nvidia's strategy of supporting artificial intelligence applications beyond traditional computing.

Doctolib provides digital healthcare services, while Pigment develops financial planning and business management solutions. Genesis AI focuses on robotics technology, and Entalpic specializes in chemistry, where artificial intelligence could accelerate research and development.

Doctolib previously confirmed that Nvidia had agreed to acquire a minority stake in the healthcare technology company. However, it did not disclose the investment amount or ownership percentage.

The healthcare platform indicated that Nvidia's participation would help advance its development of AI-powered tools, potentially strengthening its technological capabilities and expanding the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare services.

The investment announcements come as Huang continues his European tour, promoting Nvidia's role in the region's rapidly developing AI ecosystem.

According to Les Echos, Huang described the company's objective as helping to "launch the artificial intelligence revolution in Europe," emphasizing Nvidia's ambitions to support European innovation.

With a reported market capitalization of approximately $5.44 trillion, Nvidia remains a major force in the global semiconductor industry, benefiting from strong demand for advanced chips used in artificial intelligence infrastructure.

The planned investments also reflect Nvidia's broader interest in companies developing practical AI applications across multiple industries.

Despite confirming the agreements, the newspaper did not disclose the financial terms, investment valuations, or exact ownership stakes associated with the four transactions.

The latest move underscores Nvidia's efforts to deepen relationships with European technology businesses as competition intensifies to develop and commercialize artificial intelligence solutions worldwide.
