Nvidia used its Berlin GTC program to promote faster AI infrastructure alongside robotics announcements, with the Associated Press reporting that European developers lack some computing capacity needed to build AI applications.
On Oct. 21, Nvidia announced DSX POD, a reference design for AI factories built around its Vera Rubin platform. The company says partners would assemble the systems in modular containers and complete integration and checks at manufacturing facilities before delivery. Nvidia said moving work on computing, networking, cabling, power and liquid cooling into those facilities could reduce deployment at a prepared site from six months to as little as 14 days. The delivered system would still need to connect to the site's power, cooling and networking infrastructure.
Nvidia said earlier production could let customers start earning revenue from AI workloads sooner.
GTC Berlin included workshops on Oct. 20 and conference and expo sessions on Oct. 21-22. The Associated Press reported that about 3,000 developers, analysts and journalists attended Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang's Oct. 21 keynote at Berlin's Tempodrom.
Footage published by Euronews showed robotic arms placing objects and fruit into boxes, alongside a facial-recognition demonstration and humanoid robots.
Separately, Nvidia announced an expansion of Isaac, its robotics platform. Agile Robots introduced Agile ONE SN, a humanoid reference platform that stands 1.40 meters tall and weighs 40 kilograms. Nvidia said availability is scheduled for early 2027.
In remarks shown by Euronews, Huang predicted broader AI adoption in Europe, saying, “Everybody will become an AI company.” Nvidia set early 2027 as the target for partners' global deliveries of DSX POD systems.
