Nvidia shares ended October down 10.4% from their Sept. 30 close, while the Oct. 30 finish remained 14.5% below the record close set Oct. 6.
At 4:42 a.m. ET Monday, a premarket quote showed the shares at $208, 1.64% above Friday’s $204.64 close. The reading came before regular U.S. trading began.
The monthly comparison uses Nvidia’s $228.38 close on Sept. 30 and its $204.64 close on Oct. 30. Friday’s finish was 14.5% below the $239.24 record close set Oct. 6.
Monday’s quote was about 13.1% below that record. The 14.5% figure applies to the completed Oct. 30 session, not the premarket price.
