Bids are posted buy orders, while asks are posted sell orders. The snapshot records the orders visible at capture; it does not show whether any later traded or how long they remained available.
Bitcoin was at $82,170 in an Oct. 22 EconoTimes reading of Binance’s perpetual market that showed bids $13.54 million above asks. The OKX and Binance readings cover different venues and dates, so each provides a separate view of displayed depth.
