Retail sales in Great Britain rose during the third quarter of 2026, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said, in its first estimate for the period covering July through September.
The release covers retail sales in volume and value terms and includes seasonally adjusted and non-seasonally adjusted data. The ONS classifies the statistics as accredited official statistics. The Office for Statistics Regulation independently reviewed them and found they comply with the Code of Practice for Statistics.
The ONS scheduled its next retail-sales release for Nov. 20.
