French cloud provider OVHcloud has 110 megawatts of connected power available for expansion, a reserve that could support its AI plans even as the timetable for its first model remains unsettled.
An investor presentation issued with the company’s Oct. 20 annual results labels 110 MW as available out of 250 MW connected to its data centers. The results describe 140 MW as in operation, while the presentation calls that amount contracted. OVHcloud says it can expand within its current data-center sites.
The model timetable differs across two interviews published Oct. 20. Reuters reported that OVHcloud Chairman and CEO Octave Klaba expected its first AI model to launch in early 2027 and described it as using a mixture-of-experts design. La Tribune reported that Klaba expected to publish an initial version of a language model as open source in late November 2026.
OVHcloud’s results describe a broader deployment phase for its AI strategy in 2027 but give no model launch date. OVHcloud’s published results do not say whether the interview dates refer to separate milestones.
OVHcloud introduced OVHai Workspace in June as an enterprise AI platform. At the time, it planned a beta release at the OVHcloud Summit in November.
For the fiscal year ended Aug. 31, 2026, revenue reached €1,145.1 million, up 7.2% on a like-for-like basis. Public Cloud revenue rose 18.9% on the same basis to €255.1 million.
The company also reported €24.7 million in adjusted annual levered free cash flow, its first positive result since its IPO. That measure added back €49.5 million of fiscal 2027 component spending brought forward into fiscal 2026. OVHcloud linked price increases on recent and newly ordered servers to higher memory and storage costs.
OVHcloud plans to detail its AI strategy at an AI Summit on Nov. 19, 2026. It is scheduled to publish first-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue on Jan. 7, 2027.
