The Office for National Statistics (ONS) published fresh estimates Thursday from a survey of business conditions in the United Kingdom, offering a recurring view of how businesses are experiencing economic pressures and other events.

The voluntary Business Insights and Conditions Survey (BICS) runs every two weeks. Its questions cover businesses’ financial performance, staffing, prices, trade and resilience.

The ONS also issued confidence intervals for the weighted estimates. It classifies both the estimates and the interval data as “official statistics in development.” The next release is scheduled for Nov. 5.
