Onchain Lens reported that wallets it associates with BlackRock sent $143.04 million in Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) to Coinbase Prime on Oct. 19, though the transfer does not establish a sale.
Coinbase describes Prime as a platform for institutional custody and trading. The record of assets moving to Prime does not show whether a trade took place.
Onchain Lens reported a larger transfer along the same route on Oct. 13. That movement totaled $202.54 million: 52,488 ETH valued at about $131 million and 860.393 BTC worth roughly $71.54 million. Ether accounted for the larger share by value.
The two assets were closer in value in the Oct. 19 movement. Onchain Lens traced 883.001 BTC, valued at about $72.64 million, to IBIT-linked wallets. It recorded another 28,957 ETH worth about $70.4 million from wallets it described more broadly as BlackRock-linked.
