Many are expecting “One Piece” chapter 957 to be the official start of Wano arc’s third act. If that is Eiichiro Oda’s plan, manga readers will probably see the beginning of the battle in Onigashima where Luffy and his allies will raid Kaido’s residence during the Fire Festival.
‘One Piece’ chapter 957 predictions: Anticipated return to Wano
The Wano arc is being narrated and divided the same way as a kabuki play. The second act ended with a series of thrilling events that show the preparations of Luffy, the Kozuki clan, and their allies. The third act is highly expected to begin in “One Piece” chapter 957, where the protagonists will likely set foot in Onigashima to attack Kaido.
It was briefly shown in act 2’s ending that Luffy made great progress in his Busoshoku Haki while Zoro chopped off an entire cliff with his new sword Enma. The new technique and weapon will certainly be put to use in the next major confrontation, possibly to be shown in “One Piece” chapter 957.
Luffy appeared to be confident while Zoro and the Enma appear to be a good match. However, they are still not prepared for what is waiting for them in Onigashima. Several powerful friends of Kaido has arrived for the Fire Festival including the mysterious and fearsome creatures called Numbers, and hopefully “One Piece” chapter 957 will show their capabilities. Most of all, Luffy and his allies are still clueless that Kaido and Big Mom agreed to work together. There is a huge chance that the battle will not end immediately.
‘One Piece’ chapter 957 spoilers, release date: Is Sabo really dead?
Post-Levely events were told in chapter 956 titled “Big News,” and it is apparently a reference to the information involving Sabo. Chapter 956 did not explicitly say Sabo has died, but Morgans of the World Economy News Paper mentioned about placing an obituary in the headlines. The next thing fans saw was the Revolutionary Army and other characters grieving over an article written about Sabo. This could also have some serious effects in “One Piece” chapter 957, especially when Luffy hears the news. It will be just like when he lost Ace, and such big news might affect how he fights in the upcoming battle.
Luckily, chapter 956 did not announce a hiatus. Viz Media also lists the release date of “One Piece” chapter 957 on Sunday, Sept. 29.
