There are speculations that “One Punch Man” season 2 is set to return this fall. Meanwhile, some fans also expect that Garou will return and will be Saitama’s main adversary in the anime series.
It has been over a year since the release of “One Punch Man” season 2 was confirmed. But up to this day, the creators of the series are yet to provide another update especially with regards to its premiere date.

On the other hand, with an anime series as big as “One Punch Man” season 2, fans can also expect that the producers could be planning to announce its air date at a major event. With that, it can be recalled that an event named “One Punch Man” Maji Gakuensai is going to take place on Aug. 12.
Considering that it is a dedicated event for the manga-turned-anime franchise, many of the much-awaited details about “One Punch Man” season 2 could be announced on this day, Geek.com speculated. And since it has been more than a year since the making of “One Punch Man” season 2 was confirmed, the fans might at least witness the unveiling of “One Punch Man” season 2’s first-ever official trailer.
If the official trailer for “One Punch Man” season 2 is revealed in the coming weeks and since the upcoming anime series installment was announced more than a year ago, the next big thing is possibly the actual airing of the show. With all these things considered, observers are predicting that “One Punch Man” season 2’s first episode could air sometime in fall 2018 or early 2019.
A lot of the plot details for “One Punch Man” season 2 are still under wraps. But one of the possibilities is seeing Garou as Saitama’s next main opponent. Garou is a very familiar character for fans who have read the manga series. But for those who have only watched the anime, he was seen once in the 10th episode of season 1.
Garou, however, did not have any combat scene with Saitama, but it was implied that he is Bang’s best student who went rogue and could be quite an opponent. With the confirmation that Garou is one of the characters to appear in “One Punch Man” season 2, it is very likely that he is one of the enemies who will need more than one punch from Saitama to be defeated.
