OP Mainnet and Unichain are the proposed first pair in an interoperability setup, with native Ether transfers as its initial use case.
A discussion post dated Oct. 22 set out the proposed pairing. The proposed opening scope names Ether (ETH) as the supported asset. The pairing can proceed only after technical checks are complete and the required governance approvals are secured.
The proposal has not been approved for activation, and the post gives no activation date.
