SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 12, 2016 -- P2 Energy Solutions today unveiled two new solutions and announced its near-term development plans for two others. Each is designed to help upstream oil and gas professionals work more efficiently. The announcements were made at P2’s annual user conference, P2 ASCEND, where hundreds of oil and gas accounting, data, land, production and reserves professionals were gathered.
“These are the first products that will be deployed across the P2 Oil & Gas Platform,” said Ben Wilson, P2’s Chief Technology Officer. “Together, these products ensure that our customers can get started quickly and visualize their data with ease.”
The two solutions unveiled are:
- P2 Reporting – a flexible solution that unites the data from an organization’s various business domains, giving users of all types the ability to perform data discovery, create reports and dashboards in minutes, and quickly uncover actionable insights.
- P2 QuickStart – a software deployment and configuration standard that accelerates an organization’s time to value and ensures that best practices are used enterprise-wide.
The two products in development are:
- P2 Field Operator – a mobile field data capture solution that strengthens the connection between the field and the back office through collaboration tools, alerts and notifications, ad-hoc tasks, work management and route optimization. The solution, coupled with P2’s production data management, production forecasting and operational intelligence capabilities, will serve as the foundation for pumping by exception.
- P2 Workflow – an extensive set of predefined best-practice workflows that span the entire upstream enterprise. These prepackaged workflows will save teams time and effort and may be customized to meet the unique business needs and requirements of P2’s clients.
All four solutions will be part of the P2 Oil & Gas Platform, which P2 also announced at the conference. The P2 Oil & Gas Platform, which is available in the P2 Cloud or on premise, leverages best-in-class E&P capabilities and integrated, end-to-end workflows to deliver a seamless software and data experience for everyone across the upstream enterprise, from the field to the back office.
