Parma beat Atalanta 3-0 at New Balance Arena in Serie A on Nov. 2, with Giovanni Fabbian and Simone Lontani scoring alongside an own goal, according to ESPN. The visitors scored before halftime and added to their lead after the interval, while the home side finished without a goal.

Fiorentina won the day's other completed match, beating Sassuolo 4-2 at Mapei Stadium. The two matches produced nine goals, with Parma keeping the only clean sheet. Both completed matches ended in away victories, with the hosts scoring only in the game at Mapei Stadium.

Fabbian opened the scoring for Parma with a header in the 41st minute. His goal gave the visitors a 1-0 lead at halftime. That header was the only goal before the break, leaving the visitors ahead as the teams went into the interval.

Davide Zappacosta's own goal in the 47th minute doubled Parma's advantage. It was the first of two goals after the interval that took the visitors from a one-goal lead to their final margin. The own goal added to the advantage established by the header before halftime.

Lontani scored in the 58th minute to make it 3-0. All three goals in Parma's victory came between the 41st and 58th minutes. His finish completed the scoring, with neither side adding another goal during the remainder of the match.

At Mapei Stadium, Armand Laurienté scored twice during the six-goal match between Sassuolo and Fiorentina. His goals came in the 25th and 65th minutes. He scored on either side of halftime, with his opening goal coming before the break and his second following the interval.

Mateo Pellegrino scored in the second minute of first-half stoppage time, following Laurienté's opening goal. Those were the two goals before halftime, with four more coming after the break. The stoppage-time goal completed the scoring for the opening half before the match's remaining goals followed in the second half.

Alieu Njie scored in the 50th minute, before Laurienté added his second 15 minutes later. Franco Mastantuono then scored in the 79th minute. Those goals followed the scoring before halftime, with another goal still to come in stoppage time.

Víctor Valdepeñas scored the match's last goal in the third minute of second-half stoppage time. His goal completed the scoring in Fiorentina's 4-2 away victory. It also meant that both halves of the match included a goal in stoppage time.
